Thank you so much for today, I really got a lot out of the session. With all the research I have been doing, buying books and making resources etc. I felt like I was trying to put together the parts of a jigsaw puzzle and was unsure about how to start. I do feel like the jigsaw has been put together today so thank you for straightening me out so to speak.
I'll definately be back for a refresher some time and will recommend you to others. Let me know if you do any other workshops.

It was a great opportunity to reflect on my own ideas about reading and to be updated with current practice. Blimey, it did make it seem like a life time ago that I taught as I barely remembered what I used to do!
I really enjoyed the way you encouraged us to consider our own personal experiences and opinions before discussing current theories, it was very interactive and engaging.
I haven't done a huge amount of phonic games etc with my own two and have just focused on reading stories but seeing all of your games and ideas that you have done was great. The more practical ideas are always welcome I think.
The reading age evaluation tests were a great resource to have and really did help me understand where my daughter was at, thanks so much for those.
All in all I thought it was a really comprehensive and relaxed session where you expanded just the right amount on all areas. You have a very approachable attitude which was great and I felt very much at ease to ask further questions had I needed to.

Thank you so much for the reading session, I have found it so useful and it clarified a lot of points for me, it has not only given me more confidence in supporting my son with learning to read but also
given me lots of tips as to what is helpful and what is not. You gave me lots of reassurance as I now know what methods work best and
